The glazing of this urn is called crystalline a very labor intensive and difficult glaze to master. The glaze has zinc in it. The urn is fired at a very high kiln temperature then the kiln is lowered and that is when crystals form in the glaze. The way the crystals form is magical. Creating a very special memorial urn for your precious pet angel. The urn was made by amazing artist from Colorado. This artistic work of art would make a lovely memorial cremation urn for your fur baby. The urn can be sealed with ceramic epoxy.
