"Spirit Horse" is a handmade ceramic horse hair memorial urn that can be used to hold ashes or a person or beloved pet. The urn is created by using tail hair from a horse. The black lines on the vessel are created by laying the horse hair on the piece after it has been fired at a very hot temperature in a kiln. Capturing a carbon impression of the horse's hair onto the urn. The urn in the photo is for sale and a sample of shape and style of a piece that can be custom ordered. The urn is made individually by a master ceramic artist from the mid-west of the USA.
